Jan Goodwin, a resident of Indianapolis and formerly of Tipton, Hobbs and Elwood died Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013.
He was the son of William and Elizabeth Powers Goodwin.
He married Linda Wright on Aug. 6, 1966. She preceded him in death on Oct. 12, 2004.
Jan retired after 34 years of service from Guide Lamp in Anderson.
He was a veteran of the United States Army.
He was a member of the Elwood Elks Lodge 368 and the Hobbs Christian Church.
He is survived by three children, a son, Lance of Indianapolis and two daughters, Amy of Carmel and Andrea of Indianapolis. A brother, Douglas Goodwin also survives.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013 at Jackley-Landrum Funeral Home in Elwood. Pastor Melissa Grishaw will be officiating. Entombment will take place at Elwood City Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
