Dorothy P. Maynard, 89, of Marysville, died Sunday, July 31, 2011.She was born May 21, 1922 in Ishpeming to the late William and Emily Dunstan. She married Harvey H. Maynard on March 14, 1944 in Port Huron. He died August 16, 1998.Mrs. Maynard enjoyed sewing, painting, crafts, crocheting, knitting and gardening.She is survived by a son, David (Bonnie) Maynard of Canadian Lakes; step-son, Don (Cindy) Maynard of Kimball; son-in-law, Butch Billiet of Marysville; eight grandchildren, Marie Margaret (Brian) Brown, Michael (Jill) Maynard, Mark (Joan) Maynard, Steve Maynard, Ronica (Jim) Monzo, Craig Maynard, Lisa (Max) Bible and Shannon (Todd) Postill; and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Marna Billiet.Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 3, 2011 in the Marysville Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 12:00 noon.
