Born in Garfield, Idaho, July 17, 1914, to Myron C. Casper and Mabel Taylor.
He married Jessie B. Casper on February 7, 1940. Their marriage was later sealed in the Idaho Falls Temple on August 5 ,1953.
Prior to moving to Centerville, in 1982, he and Jessie lived in Bozeman, Montana. There, he worked for 30 years at Darigold . He was a high priest in the Centerville Duel Creek Ward of the Centerville Stake. Myron loved the outdoors, he loved to hunt and fish. Myron was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Navy in the Pacific Theater. Moving to Utah with a longer growing season gave him a chance to garden. He loved the fresh tomatoes, corn and melons, that he helped to grow.
He is survived by his loving wife, Jessie; children: Jessie May Christensen (Chris) of Laurel, MT; Becky Claus of Bozeman, MT; and Richard Casper (Ann) of Centerville, UT; 13 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren; brothers: Orson T. Casper (Ardel) of Bountiful, UT; Duane Casper (Charlene); sister, Verda Smout (Darwin) of Idaho Falls. Preceded in death by his parents, one brother and three sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, November 15, 1999, in the Centerville Stake House, 950 No. Main, Centerville, UT. Friends may call Sunday, Nov. 14 from 6-8 p.m. at Russon Brothers Mortuary in Bountiful, 295 North Main, or on Monday one hour prior to the service at the Church. Interment-Centerville City Cemetery.
