Mrs. Caroline Thompson
Mrs. Carrie A. Thompson, 67, a seamstress at the St Joseph Hospital the past eleven years died at 4:30 p.m. Thursday. Her home is at 930 Center Avenue.

The daughter of James and Mary Robinson Joscelyn, she was born in West Olive Michigan March 24, 1885. She had been a resident of the vicinity most of her life.

Survivors include five daughters, Mrs Edith Young, Mrs Myrtle Collins, Mrs. Mabel Reed, Mrs. Vida Finley all of Ottumwa, and Mrs. Ethel Davis of Murray Utah; twenty grand children and 10 great-grand-children. Four sisters, Mrs Olive Averill of Dorr Michigan, Mrs. Mary Keithley of Ridgedale Missouri, Mrs Jeanette Cassidy of Kalamazoo Michigan and Etta Christofferson, The Dalles Oregon.

She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant daughter. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Johnson Funeral Chapel

At the age of 21 Carrie married Isaac Peter Lewis in Aurora, Lawrence, Missouri on 16 Feb 1907. Her second husband was William Wesley Thompson; they married on 31 Aug 1912.
