Cleveland never married Viva Bullock, but they had two daughters. He was a roomer at Viva's parents' home in 1930. I don't believe Viva knew he was married. He returned home to his wife, Lula and his son Charles Astor sometime in 1931 , after the birth of the second daughter.
The surname is Winkles, but also recorded as Winkle.
