Norman Brummer was born in New York on 26 January 1908, the son of Morris Brummer and his wife Lena Brummer. Morris was a brother to my great-great-grandfather, Hyman Brummer, making Norman my third cousin. His brother, Col. Morris Jacob Brummer, was a veteran of the US Air Force, and is buried, with his wife, in Arlington National Cemetery.
