Miss Cater was born in Pickens County and was the daughter of the late John W. and Bessie Waldrop Cater. She was retired from Liberty Life Insurance Company and was a member of Mt. Tabor Baptist Church.
Miss Cater is survived by one sister, Louise Cater of Raleigh, NC, and a special aunt, Lake White of Central and special friends, Freddie and Aileen Crowe of Central and several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by a brother, George Cater.
Funeral services will be at 2PM Saturday, December 22, 2012 in the chapel of Duckett/Robinson Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 12:30-1:45PM prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Pickens.
