Grace Genevieve Pembleton,
OLATHE - Grace Genevieve Pembleton 84, died June 18, 2001, at Delmar Gardens, Overland Park, Kansas.
She was born December 12, 1916, at Hutchinson, Kansas, the daughter of Harry L. Epperson and Edith Laura Newberry Epperson. A 1934 graduate of Hutchinson High school, she worked as a real astate agent for several different companies, including Bob Owens and J. D. Reece.
She was a longtime member of Zion Lutheran Church, Hutchinson, and was currently a member of Faith Lutheran Church, Prairie Village, Kansas.
She married Leonard Pembleton. He survives. Other survivors include; two sons, Wayne Witcher, Leawood, and Lowell Howard Witcher, Overland Park; a daughter , Elaine Unfred, Lawrence; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Donald L. Epperson; and a sister, Ruth Coons.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Faith Lutheran Church, 4508 W. 67th St. Prairie Village. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time Thursday at the church. Burial will be in Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson, Kansas.
Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
