Mrs. Alvin Cassabaum Lathrop passed away at her home, at 638 Pine street Wednesday afternoon, June 15, at the age of 55 years.

Her life has been a mixture of work and joy, hardship and happiness and sorrow; and much suffering during the past two years.

The deceased was a native of Wisconsin. She is survived by her husband, her son Dudley Lathrop of Sparta, daughters Jessie and Mrs. Ed. Fairbanks of Sparta, Marie Cahoon of Lake Delton, Alvina Peterson of Porterfield, Wis., Elizabeth Seeburch and the son, Harry of Milwaukee.

Her mother also survives, five brothers, three sisters, six grandchildren and many relatives and friends who will mourn the loss of this christian friend.

After having lived in the home of the son Dudley, for a time, last March Mr. and Mrs. Lathrop established their own home on Pine street. Services will be held in the Plummer Funeral Home, Saturday afternoon at two o'clock, Rev. R H. Gee, pastor of the Methodist church officiating. Interment in Mount Hope cemetery.

The father of the deceased died last year in June, and one son died in infancy.
