Annette is survived by her husband of 15 years, Joe Ayala, mother, Stephanie Griego, brothers, Tony Griego and his wife, Julie, Andrew Griego and his wife, Beverly, niece, Carrie Griego, nephew, Ivan Griego and a large, extended family. Annette was preceded in death by her brother, Arthur Griego.
Annette graduated from Manzano High School, where she was homecoming queen. Annette served 14 years in the United States Air Force. Annette served in Desert Storm.
Annette worked for the City of Albuquerque for over 27 years, specializing in Health and Wellness. Annette was "THE" Supervisor of the APD Gym.
Cremation has taken place and Memorial Services will be held on Monday, November 17, 2008 at Calvary Chapel of Albuquerque 4001 Osuna NE. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, friends may make memorial contributions to Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 3411 Candelaria Rd. NE, Suite M, Albuquerque, NM 87107.
