Funeral services for Mrs. Ida Bill, 88, were held Sunday at the Smithville First Baptist Church.
The Rev. Ray Ridgeway officiated. Burial was in the Whorton Springs Cemetery.
Mrs. Gill died Saturday at her home in the Wolf Creek Community following a lingering illness.
She was a member of the Wolf Creek Baptist Church.
Surviving are four sons, Uel of Smithville, Aflred Houston of Silver Point, William L. of Cookeville and Floyd W. Gill of Donelson; three daughters, Mrs. Clara Jared of Buffalo Valley, Mrs. Cimple Holland of Tuscumbia, Ala, and Mrs. Geda Mae Craig of Fayetteville; a brother, Clarence Atnip of McMinnville; four sisters, Mrs. Etta Spencer of Nashville, Mrs. Tassie Taylor of Dodge City, Kan., Mrs. Nora Taylor of Good Springs, and Mrs. Hassie Taylor of Spring Hill, 23 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
Walker Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
