Jean was born June 27, 1925 in Belton, Texas. She attended Caldwell High School while her parents Maloy Valera and Flossie Jane Clack Ingram worked their farm near the Hogg Community and she met her husband Evan Frank Pinter. She moved with her family to Holland, Texas where she graduated from Holland High school. Jean and Evan were married on February 3, 1945, in Holland, Texas, continuing to live and work near Hogg, but later relocating several times until moving back into Burleson County in 1974.
Jean was always an excellent seamstress, a wonderful cook, and in her later years she became a talented painter, as well as being an avid Dallas Cowboys fan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Maloy Valera and Flossie Jane Clack Ingram, her husband, Evan Frank Pinter, sisters, Helen Ingram Bell and Demeris (Sis) Ingram Yaney; two brothers, Maloy V. (son) Ingram and William Francis Ingram; two infant sons and her son-in-law, Vernon Martin "Marty" Brinson.
Jean is survived by her children, Patsy Jean Hughes and her husband Richard Hughes, Michael Dale Pinter and his wife Saundra Pinter, and Nina Malane Hemann and her husband Randy Hemann; her grandchildren Philip Robert Brinson, John Matthew Brinson and his wife Carol (Kutach) Brinson, Michael Christopher Pinter and his wife Staci (Buchanan) Pinter, Ronald Wayne Pinter and his wife Stephanie (Jennings) Pinter, Justin Marc Brinson and his wife April (Eikren) Brinson, and Brandi Michelle (Pinter) Galindo and her husband Ardy Galindo; her great-grandchildren Ashley Morgan (Pinter) Coston and her husband Corey Coston, Sarah Elizabeth Pinter and her fiancé Trey Stephens, Michael Andrew Pinter, McKalyn Noel Pinter, Nichole Lee Pinter, Kate Mackenzie Brinson, Stephen Ingram "Gram" Brinson, Wayne Allen Pinter, Charlotte Avery Brinson, Travis Dale Pinter, Jack Martin Brinson, Felix Blake Brinson, and Aiden Matthew Galindo; great-great-grandchildren Lainey Grace Stephens and Colby Ray Coston.
Funeral services are set at Strickland Funeral Home in Caldwell. Interment will follow at Masonic Cemetery in Caldwell.
