DIXON -- Mrs. Evangeline Beightel, 81, 1303 Hemlock St., died in her home Tuesday morning after a brief illness. She was a resident of Dixon all her life.
Mrs. Beightel was born in South Dixon Township, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Seybert. She was married to DeWitt Clinton Beightel June 7, 1905, in Dixon.
Survivors include a son, Ellsworth, at home.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Preston Funeral Home. Rev. George J. Curran will officiate. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. Friends may call in the funeral home.
