The first lived in Chicago, moving later to points in Missouri and Kansas. It was 1878 when they came to this part of the state and on December 26th, 1883, he was married to Miss Kate Bocksell, of Columbus, Kas. This union was blessed with three children, one of whom died in infancy.

The first wife passed away October 26, 1886. Five years later Mr. Boo married Mrs. Martha Olson, and to them one child was born. His second wife passed away in 1897. For twelve years Mr. Boo had been night waterman at the State School for the Blind at Kansas City, Kas., until last June when he came to the home of a brother in this county, broken in health and in spirit, and has since been tenderly cared for by his children and brothers and sisters.
