Son of Jacob Perkins and Emma E. Magers/Majors, he married Arminta 'Minta' Jane Swearingen, April 26, 1899, Monroe County, Ohio.
The 1910 census Sunsbury, indicates he was a farmer and they had four children, four living - Albert Marion, Mary I, Bertha Lee, Inez Elizabeth.

Widowed in 1917, the 1918 World War I Draft Registration lists him residing in Stark County, Ohio, employed at United Alley Steel Co.

He married widow Emma May KEPHART Rundell, June 25, 1919.

(Note: she was married to William Henry Rundell in 1907 Pittsburgh, Allegheny, PA. and widowed in 1915.)

Widowed again in 1927, he married Margaret Shupe (nee?) August 15, 1927, Wheeling, Ohio, WV.
(In 1940 a Doris M. Shupe, his step daughter born 1921 in Oklahoma, is residing with them.)
