Transy Terry, 93, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord Thursday, January 3, 2013. She was born January 2, 1920 in the Antioch Community, Saline County, Arkansas, to the late Zebron C. and Ida F. (Dodd) Clair.

Transy was preceded in death by her parents; husband Archie Terry; sister Pansy Burnett and brothers Britt Clair and Wilbern Clair.

She is survived by her son Shelby Terry and wife Pat of Hot Springs, Arkansas; grandchildren Robert Micah Terry and Leann Noles; great grandchildren Ashley, Gracie and Beau Terry, Lauren Sharp, Cassey, Caylin and Kyleigh Covey; great-great granddaughter Ellie Grace Sharp; many nieces and nephews and one name sake great-great niece Isabella Transy Mazander.

Honorary pallbearers include Thomas Miller, William Terry, Garland County Sherriff Department, Fountain Lake Nursing Home Staff and Dierksen Hospice Staff. Pallbearers include Micah Terry, Odis Burnett, Olen Burnett, Zak Buttrum, Glen Noles, and Colt Sharp.

Visitation will be from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Sunday at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home. A closed casket service will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday at the Old Antioch Church on Danville Road with Brother Jimmy Scott and Clarence Shell officiating. Burial will follow in The Old Antioch Cemetery.
