Marshall Leon "Buck" Chisum was born May 9, 1934 in Borger, TX to Marshall and Ozella (Weatherford) Chisum. He and his family lived in Pringle, TX until moving to the Rehm Community in 1948. Buck graduated from Dalhart High School in 1951, then attended Panhandle State College and Abilene Christian College before being drafted into the Army in 1957. He married Nancy Beth Marshall on September 20, 1959. Buck farmed until 1974 and then operated "Buck's Trailer Wash" for over 20years.
Survivors include his wife Nancy Chisum of Dalhart, TX, sons: Joel Chisum of Brush, CO, Jeff (Skip) Chisum of Amarillo, TX, a daughter Julie Chisum of San Antonio, TX and a sister Oleta Lovell of Hurst, TX. 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren
He is preceded in death by his son Jay Chisum, his parents, and 2 brothers.
