CHICKAMAUGA Chris Bowman, 54, passed away on Friday, Jan. 4, 2013, at his residence.Chris was a member of Local #454 Boilermaker's Union and attended the Way of the Cross Baptist Church.He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Paul and Geneva Bowman, and Wesley and Pearl Shipley.Survivors include his wife, Diane Bowman; stepdaughters, Robin (Kendall) Gibson and Jenny Moore; parents, Jerry and Patsy Bowman; sisters, Tammy (Chris) Durham, Debbie (Troy) Simerley and Sherry (Ricky) Holcomb; brother, Ricky (Pat) Bowman; four grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the South Crest Chapel with Pastor Oscar Stapp and the Rev. J.D.
