He married Blondell Mathisen on March 4, 1970. They have three children: Steven (adopted) (Kerry) of Ivins, Kelle (Jeffrey) Haeffner of Pueblo, CO and Roxanne (Infant-Deceased).
Doyle had his own business in Heating and Air Conditioning in Salt Lake and Park City area. They moved from Park City to Washington City in 1985 to Winter Haven and worked for five more years before retiring. He was never a man for just sitting around, so he took a job at Winter Haven as Head of Maintenance and worked for 22 years and finally retired at age 80.
Doyle and Blondell had 45 wonderful years together. You will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his wife, children and numerous grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, 2 children, and all of his siblings.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 7, 2013 at 12:00 p.m. at the Washington LDS 6th Branch Chapel, 700 East Telegraph Street, Washington, Utah. A visitation will be held from 10:30 to 11:45 a.m. prior to services at the chapel. Interment will follow at the Washington City Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the care of Pine View Mortuary, (435) 986-4222.
