John Britton Farlee, 73, of 301 East Sixth, Topeka, died in a hospital early Monday.
He was born in Jackson county near Havensville, December 3, 1870, and has been a resident of Topeka 32 years. He was a member of the Christian church and of Blue lodge No. 34 AF&AM in Havensville. He was a thirty-second degree Mason.
Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Earl L. Orr; a granddaughter, Mrs. Lyle A. Lewey and a great-granddaughter, Beverly Kay Lewey, all of Topeka, and a number of nieces and nephews in Kansas and California.
Funeral services were held at Wall-Diffenderfer's at 3:30 p. m. Wednesday with burial in Mt. Hope cemetery. Pall bearers were C. E. Graff, C. S. Thompson, Harold B. Wolfe, Edward G. Allen, Beamer Nelson and Charles
