Ramon was survived by his son Ruben; siblings: Edith Trujillo (Armando); Ralph Dominguez; Russell Dominguez (Cemele); Robin Nevarez (Miguel); Richard Dominguez; Ruth Martinez (Marcos); Renee Espinoza (John); Randy Dominguez; Rodney Dominguez (Nancy); Ryan Dominguez (Jeanette); and Rachelle Dominguez; aunt Lydia Jordan; sisters-in-law: Rose Vialpando (Albert) and Veronica Muscarella (Steve); and brother-in-law Salvador Trujillo (Lucy); good friends: Fred and Rachel Sandoval; Manuel and Shirley Trujillo; Albert Fernandez; Cipriano Vigil; Felix "Punky" Trujillo, Ted Rael and numerous nephews and nieces, friends, and relatives.
Ramon served God as a Grand Knight in the Knights of Columbus in Española and as a penitente with the Hermanos de La Morada del Alto de Abiquiu. He was devoted to his son, Ruben, and they were always together, along with his other companion, his guitar. Mon will be remembered for his great heart, his musical talent, his joking ways, and that infectious laugh that made you want to laugh just because. He always said that he never met a stranger because he had that kind of personality that everyone was a friend. His jobs included working at Northern New Mexico College, Rio Arriba County, and the State of New Mexico. He was part of a musical group "Grupo Zia", with his life-long friends, Freddie Sandoval, Rachel Saiz Sandoval and Dan Burke.
A Rosary was recited on January 3, 2013 at the Rivera Family Funeral Home in Española. A second Rosary was recited on January 4, 2013 at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Abiquiu. Funeral Mass was on January 5, 2013 at St. Thomas Catholic Church. Interment followed in the Abiquiu Cemetery. Pallbearers were his brothers: Ralph, Russell, Richard, Randy, Rodney and Ryan Dominguez.
