Gerald Brink, aged 89, of Jenison, formerly of Hudsonville, passed away to be with the Lord Thursday, November 12, 2009.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary in 1999.

He is survived by his children, Marilyn and Ron Grasman, Judy and Ron Tieri, Jan and Randy Hart, Linda and Dave Rhoda, Shirlene Leigh, Mary and Mark McClear; 19 grandchildren, nine great grandchildren; his brother, Melvin and Betty Brink; his brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Gabriel and Alice Fodor, Marie Fodor, Catherine Fodor; many nieces and nephews.

Jerry loved his Lord and Savior, and had passed on this legacy to each of his six daughters and their spouses, his grandkids and great grandkids. All those whose lives were touched by Dad will always remember his loving spirit and giving heart. Jerry was a veteran of WW II, serving in the Army, and was retired from Steelcase in 1982.

A memorial service will be held Sunday at 5:00 p.m. at Fair Haven Ministries, 2900 Baldwin St. (corner of 28th Avenue) Hudsonville, MI. (use doors E & F) with his grandson Rev. Jamie Hart officiating. Interment Grandville Cemetery. Friends may meet with the family on Sunday, at church, from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the memorial service. Memorial contributions may be made to Forgotten Man Ministries or the charity of your choice.
