CHESTER L. HARVEY

MADISON TWP.-- Chester Lynn Harvey, age 92, a resident of Madison Township, Ohio, since 1943, and formerly of West Virginia, died Thursday, April 6, 2006, at Hospice House in Cleveland.

Born January 2, 1914, in Junior, West Virginia, he was a son of the late Homer and Maude (Brady) Harvey.

He worked as a Loader for the former Diamond Shamrock, retiring in 1976 after 46 1/2 years, and he was Former Union President of Diamond Shamrock.

A member of Jefferson Church of the Nazarene, he was very active in the church as a Sunday School Superintendent, Teacher, and Board Member, and he enjoyed traveling.

Survivors include two sons, Glenn (Ellen) Harvey of Geneva, and Wallace Harvey of Wisconsin; two daughters, Naomi (Harold) Justice of Rock Creek, and Thelma (John) Rippin of Painesville; nine grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Bulah "Madge" (Prunty) Harvey in 2003; a son, Lynn Harvey in 1997; his parents; three brothers, Carl Brady, Paul Harvey, and Kenneth Harvey; and a sister, Madge Brown.

A Celebration of Christian Life will be 11 a.m., Monday, April 10, 2006, at the SPEAR-MULQUEENY FUNERAL HOME, 667 Mentor Avenue, Painesville. Burial will be in Perry Cemetery.
