Robert Buford Ariail, 65, a well known resident of the Nails Creek community in Banks County, died last Friday afternoon in Los Angeles, Calif.
A native of the Nails Creek community, he moved to California in 1939.
He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Julia Cochran Ariail, of Atlanta; his wife, Mattie Ayers Ariail, of Los Angeles; a son, Elmer, of San Diego, Calif.; a daughter Mrs. Eloise McDaniel of Atlanta.
The body is being returned here for burial, with arrangements to be announced by the Acree-Davis Funeral Home of Cornelia.
