WW2 veteran, husband of Marcia nee Brannian, father of 7, son of William Lewis Anderson and Myrtle Priscilla nee Dutcher Anderson.He was a US Navy Seabee in the Pacific theater and traveled from the Aleutian Islands to Guam, Okinawa, & possibly other places.He was on probably on Okinawa during the battle, but didn't talk much about his time in the military. After the war, he worked for a while at Peterson's Bakery in Omaha, and then, after he and his family moved to Salt Lake City in 1951, worked for a while at the Continental Bakery--they made Wonder bread. After leaving there, he worked a couple temporary jobs and then went to work at the old St. Mark's Hospital, part time, and also for the U.S. Bureau of Mines on the graveyard shift. He worked 2 jobs for several years,but quit the hospital job after his wife went to work.
