She first married Samuel Crowell on 15 Nov 1883 in Waupaca, WI. They had one child, Ray Samuel Crowell. Samuel died 5 days after the birth of his son.

She next married Paul Sanborn about 1896.

After her remarriage, her son Ray's name was changed to "Ray Crowell Sanborn". He was still alive in 1959, living in Beaumont, TX.
