Resident Passes On

Mrs. Carmen Aguilera, 72, passed away on Saturday, May 2 at 10:30 p.m., reportedly following a heart attack at the home of her son, Pastor, 825 Chapman Street, Bakersfield,
She was born in Mexico but had been a resident of Mojave for the past 25 years. Her husband passed away 4 years ago. Survivors included four sons, Ray of Santa Clara; Pastor of Bakersfield; Tony of Mojave; Lupe, address unobtainable; also three daughters, Genevieve and Mary of Bakersfield, and Jeanne.
Rosary was recited Monday at the Greenlawn Mortuary Chapel followed by Mass Tuesday morning at St. Francis Church in Mojave.
Interment was in Mojave District Cemetery with Greenlawn Mortuary in charge.
