Roy H. Geary, 68, of White, Star Route, was dead on arrival Wednesday at Frick Community Hospitel, Mount Pleasant.

He was born July 21, 1906 in Bullskin Township, a son of William G. Geary and the late Mary Freiberg Geary.

He was an employee of the Montgomery Ward Service Dept., Uniontown, and the Bullskin Township Supervisors Roads Dept., was a social member of the Fairview Club, and attended Pleasant Valley Community Church.

In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife Dorothy Retkofsky Geary; four sons, T-Sgt Christopher R. of Frankfurt, Germany, Samuel E. of Dunbar, Arthur G. of York, N.Y., and William H. of White; five daughters, Mrs. Frank (Dorothy) Showman of Leisenring 1, Mrs. Harry (Florence) Selby of White, Mrs. Charles (Nevada) Blystone of Aiken, S.C., Mrs. Harold (Patricia) Beal of Prittstown and Miss Karla Geary, at home; 33 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three brothers, Wade and Homer of Rochester, N.Y., and Eugene of Powel, Wyo., and one sister, Mrs. Gerald (Edith) Tyree of Canoga Park, Calif. He was predeceased by an infant son, Richard; one daughter, Helen Ritenour; one brother, Carl, and one sister, Hazel.
