PAMELA LeMARILL REHN WALTON, 48, Waynesfield, died Aug. 17, 2003, at The Ohio
State University Medical Center, Columbus.

She was born March 3, 1955, in Lima to Lewis H. and Marilyn C. Copeland Rehn, who survive in Wapakoneta. On Sept. 14, 1974, in Waynesfield, she married Albert W. Walton, who survives.

Mrs. Walton was a second grade teacher at Waynesfield-Goshen schools until she started her family. While she raised her children, she worked at Rainbow Nursery School, then went back to teaching art at Waynesfield-Goshen schools.

She was a member of Waynesfield United Methodist Church, where she was a member of its United Methodist Women, the choir the Open Door Sunday school class, was a youth group leader and had served as the children's choir director. She served on the Lima District Council on Ministries. She was a member of the Child Conservation League Waynesfield Chapter, the Farm Bureau Council and the Waynesfield-Goshen Music and Academic Boosters. She had been a member of the Association for Gifted Children and the Association for the Education for Young Children. She was a 1973 graduate of Waynesfield-Goshen High School, where she was the class salutatorian, and a 1977 graduate of The Ohio State University.

Survivors also include a son, Ryan W. Walton at home; two daughters, Kristin P. Walton at home and Angela L. (James E.) Decker of Columbus; a sister,Sharon D. (Lilburn) Cummins of Wapakoneta; and four nephews, three nieces; four great-nephews and a great-niece.

Services will begin at 3 p.m. Friday at the Waynesfield Lions Club. Neal D. Whitney and the Rev. Jackie D. Leigh will officiate. Burial will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery, near New Hampshire.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday and one hour prior to services Friday at the Waynesfield Lions Club.

Memorial contributions may be made to Waynesfield United Methodist Church Youth Group Fund.

Arrangements are by Armentrout Funeral Home, Waynesfield.
