Passed away Monday, November 28, 2005 at Raulerson Hospital in Okeechobee, Florida. A United States WWII Army Veteran . Retired from Caterpillar, Inc. in 1978. A lifetime member of Carroll P. Foster VFW #1341 in Anna, Illinois.
Survived by his son, Larry (Phylis) Dale of Okeechobee, Florida; two daughters, Sandra Pawchak of Okeechobee, Florida and Martha (Leo) Manzella of Bartlett, Illinois; his stepson, Jack Beggs of Carterville, Illinois; five grandsons; two step-granddaughters; six great-grandchildren; his brother, Warren Dale; and his sister, Mae Ebersohl.
Preceded in death by his parents, William A. and Alice (nee Settlemoir) Dale; first wife, Wanda; his second wife, Gladys; and nine brothers and sisters.
Funeral services for Virgil Thomas Dale will be Saturday, December 3, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home chapel.
Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name to the American Lung Association would be appreciated. Visitation SATURDAY MORNING 9:00 a.m. until time of services at: FRED C. DAMES FUNERAL HOME
