Niles Jackson 'Jack' Omberg, 72, of Corsicana passed away Friday, May 7, 1999 in Corsicana. Services will be 10 a.m. Monday at Corley Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Mr. Omberg was born Sept 21, 1926 in Emmett. He was a bondsman. Mr. Omberg was born to Archie and Eunice Omberg. He was a member of Cedar Creek Baptist Church and was a 32nd Degree Mason in Masonic Lodge No. 196 of Hillsboro. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Nilene Young, and and a brother Warren Glen Omberg. Mr. Omberg is survived by his wife Janelle Omberg of Corsicana; stepson, Gary Roman of Corsicana; two stepdaughters, Diane Watkins of Odessa and Laura Kalinec of Ennis; sister, Joyce Hollingsworth of Hillsboro; two brothers, Max Omberg of Houston; grandson, John Young of Grandbury; granddaughter, Nila Young of College Station; seven step grandchildren; four step great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
