MRS. MARY BUERKLE
Born in Alsace-Lorain on April 11, 1854, but a resident of this community practically all of her lifetime, Mrs. mary Buerkle died at 1 am today at Rouse Hospital, Youngsville, where she had made her home for the past several years.
In her earlier years mrs. Buerkle was employed by the Bell Telephone Company, but her principal interests centered in the raising of her several grandchildren. many in the community recall her kindness and describe her as a wonderful neighbor.
Surviving are two sons, James K. Hedges of Warren; David Hedges of Erie; as well as a number of grand children.
Removal has been made to the Lutz-VerMilyea Funeral Home where friends will be received at the regular calling hours starting at 7 pm this evening. Services in her memory will be held at the funeral home at 1 pm Thursday afternoon, the Rev Beecher M. Rutledge, rector of Trinity memorial church, officiating and interment following in Oakland Cemetary.

She had a daughter Hazel Winchester who resided in NY.
(note: 1900 census Alfred was listed in the North Warren Hospital as an inmate, married 21 years
