Amos Cox, One-Time Resident Here, Dies
Word was received in Miller Wednesday, stating that Amos Cox had passed away early that afternoon at his home at Lamberton, Minn. Death was caused as the result of a stroke which he suffered last Friday.
Both Mr. and Mrs. Cox visited here about a week ago, and while at that time he was obviously not in the best of health, his death came as a surprise to his friends here.
Mr. and Mrs. Cox were for a number of years, residents of Miller, leaving here about ten years ago for Lamberton, where they made their home since. Mr. Cox was a carpenter by trade. He was eighty years of age, and the father of Mrs. Clint Taylor of St. Lawrence.
No funeral plans were learned, but it is thought that the body will be brought to Miller for burial.
