James Harrison (Doc) Davis Jr. 49 of Walland passed away after a long illness at home surrounded by his loved ones December 24, 2012.
He was preceded in death by his Dad: James Harrison (Cheese) Davis Sr. and Sister: Tressie Lee Davis. He was a member of the Rocky Branch Church of God, a beloved Son, Father, Brother, and Papaw.
He is survived by his Sons and Daughters in law: Calvin and Dixie Wilburn of Friendsville, James H. and Crystal Davis III of Georgia, Jo Josh Davis of Maryville, Eight Grandchildren, Mother: Mary Louise Cameron Davis of Walland, Sisters and Brothers in law: Karen and Jim Buckner of Walland, Brenda and Ronnie Shaffer of Madisonville, Mother of his children: Tessa Wilburn, Special Nephew: Jeff Buckner Special Brother: Terry Davis, Several Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, and cousins.
Memorial services will be held at 6:00 P.M. Thursday December 27, 2012 at the Rocky Branch Church of God with Rev. Robert Jennings, and assistant Mark Jennings. Inurnment services will be held at 12:00 Noon Friday December 28, 2012 at Laws Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.
