Miss Jane Lucas, daughter of Harrison and Barbara Lucas, deceased, died at her home in Nashville, at 8 o'clock Thursday night, October 13, 1910, at the age of 76 years. She had been ill for a number of years . . . Her mind was clear to the last, and she rested with confidence in the promise of the bible for a life beyond the grave. She was a life-long member of the Christian Church. . . Brief funeral services were conducted at the home of Revs. Barnes and Northam at 3 o'clock Friday afternoon and the remains were laid to rest in Oak Ridge [Oak Hill?] Cemetery. The surviving members of the family are Mrs. Ann Winchester, Mrs. Alice Ferguson and Miss Mollie Lucas, of Nashville, and Luther H. Lucas, at Lexington, Illinois, and Albert Lucas, at Bedford, Indiana. (Oct. 20, 1910)
