E. George Mander, Savannah- E. George Mander 49, of route 89 North, Savannah died Sunday December 11 as a result of a automobile accident.

Friends may call from 7-9 pm Tuesday and from 2-4 and 7-9pm Wednesday at the Colvin Funeral Home, Savannah.

The funeral will be at 2pm Thursday at the funeral home with burial in Butler-Savannah Cemetery.

Mr. Mander was born in Palmyra June 15, 1939 son of Lila and the late Calvin Mander of Savannah. He retired from the Army in 1980 and since had been employed by the Colvin Farms of Savannah. He was a member of the Savannah United Methodist Church, the Savannah Fire Department and the Montezuma V.F.W.

Surviving are his wife, Josephine Sampson Mander; four daughters, one son, his mother, Lila of Savannah; four grand children, one brother, Charles of Utica; three sisters, Mrs. Nancy Bennett of Clyde, Mrs. Doris Gonyeau of Utica and Mrs. Wava Sampson of Savannah.}}

Elmer lived to age 49.
