It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gordon, beloved husband of Esther for 63 years, in Calgary on December 28, 2012 at the age of 92 years.
Born in Edmonton, Gordon grew up all his life in Alberta. Some of his greatest passions were logging, fur trading and chasing after his beloved Esther. He loved to drive and drove for Greyhound Bus Lines for 35 years. After multi-million miles spent driving, he retired in 1985. Afterwards, with Esther by his side, they packed up the motorhome and put another million miles traveling everywhere else. He and Esther traveled, with all members of their family, on different cruises to all different corners of the globe. His love for Esther and his family will never be forgotten.
Gordon is survived by his beloved wife Esther; children Denny (Lidia), Donald, David (Bev), Dale (Julie), Darrell aka Bud (Sue), Darcy (Tracy); son-in-law Darren McFarlane and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Gordon was predeceased his son Daniel and his daughters Delores and Debbie.
