Luicille Bertha Brooks Betncourt age 90, of Jacksonville went to be with her Lord on Saturday, December 15, 2012. She was born July 21, 1922 to the late Andrew and Laura Bass Brooks in Cabot, Arkansas. She was a retired manager for Braum's Ice Cream in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was a member of St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church in Jacksonville. She was strong willed and a very loving person, who worked her entire life. She was preceded in death by 16 brothers and sisters, making her the last of 17.

She is survived by her children; Shirley Henry of Jacksonville, Ted Leggitt of Mayflower, Jerry Leggitt of Jacksonville, grandchildren; Mike Garland of Van Buren, Vickie Garland of Jacksonville, Karen Goff of Jacksonville, Scott Maxwell of Austin, Texas, six great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church in Jacksonville with Father Andy Smith officiating. Entombment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Park.

A Rosary service will be 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 18, 2012 with visitation following at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home.
