Charlene L. Barker, 80, Kokomo, died at 10:02 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 25, 2012, in the emergency room at Community Howard Regional Hospital. She was born March 19, 1932, in Hemlock, the daughter of Willis P. and Mary N. (Simmons) Andrews. On June 16, 1972.
Charlene was a 1950 graduate of Kokomo High School and attended Indiana University in Kokomo and Taylor University. She was employed by Delco Electronics, retiring after 30 years of service. She was a member of UAW local 292, and St. Luke's United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Thomas Andrews.
Funeral services will be at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Shirley and Stout Funeral Home, Lincoln Road Chapel, 1315 W. Lincoln Rd. Friends may visit with the family from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
