Lester literally wrote the book on our O'Flaherty family history. With cousin Mary Alice Wertz, descended from his Aunt Mary Jane O'Flaherty Feighte, they did all the ground work for others to continue their fine work. "Daniel O'Flaherty Family History", 1971, can be found in many Virginia family history genealogy libraries, which is the story of our immigrant ancestor...his grandfather.
His book at the Edinburgh Gen Library should also have copies of our reunion newsletters from 1999-2006. On the left see daughter Audrey's caption of her father's efforts on our behalf.
