In Memory: Francenia Bane
A memorial service for Francenia Bane, 81, of Minden was held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the Minden United Church of Christ with the Rev. Denny Peterson officiating.
Mrs. Bane died June 2 at Oakland Manor in Oakland.
She was born in Oakland and graduated from Oakland High School in 1935. She taught country school and was a teachers' assistant in Minden.
Mrs. Bane and her husband, Robert, were married 53 years.
Survivors in addition to her husband include a daughter, Julie Burgess, and husband, Ed, of Lexington, Kentucky; a son, Phil, of Minden; and four grandchildren.
Knutson Funeral Home in Avoca was in charge of arrangements.
