Funeral services for Mrs. Lula M. Rhodes, 80, who died at her home in Dallas last Saturday night after an illness of several days, were held Monday morning at 11 O'clock at the Olive Branch cemetery, near Palestine, with John W. Hedge, minister of the Jacksonville Church of Christ, officiating.

Mrs. Rhodes resided in Neches all of her life until moving to Dallas about seven years ago.

Surviving are four daughters, Miss Nora Rhodes of Jacksonville, Mrs. W.R. McKay of Athens, Mrs. F.D. Evans of Texarkana and Mrs. Odell Lewis of Jacksonville; a son, Herbert Rhodes of Orange; ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; a brother, J.L. Pickle of Eustace and one sister.
