DEMOPOLIS : A. Gerald Duren, age 63, died January 29, 2003, at his residence. Services will be held Saturday, February 1, 2003 at 12 Noon at Kidd-Robbins Chapel. Burial will follow in Sumter Memorial Gardens, York, Al. Visitation is tonight (Friday, January 31, 2003) from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. The body will lie in state one hour prior to service. Kidd-Robbins Funeral Directors of Demopolis directing.
He is preceded in death by his father, Howard Duren.
Survivors include spouse; daughter; mother, Betty Duren, Demopolis.
Honorary pallbearers are residents of Riverside Apartments, employees of Gulf States Paper Corp., Dr. Kirschberg and staff.
