John Albrecht was born November 18, 1868, in Kleindorf, South Russia. He died April 13, 1935, in Pollock, aged 66, from liver trouble and pneumonia. In 1890 he married Christina Huber. They had six children, of whom two are dead. In 1900 his wife died and he remained with his four children, Christ, John, Christine and William.
In 1903 he married Christine Jakober. They had 15 children, of whom 12 are living. Their names are, Jakob, Lydia, Mary, Gottlieb, Martha, Emil, Esther, Arthur, Friedricka, Annie and Benjamnin. (only 11 listed in obit)
He came to America in 1901.
He leaves his wife, 15 children, 32 grandchildren; two brothers, Christ and Fred; two sisters, Caroline and Elizabeth.
Reverend E. S. Fenske officiated at the German Baptist Church. Burial in the Pollock Cemetery.
