Barbara Jean Garnett, aged 79, born May 3, 1932, died February 6, 2012. She was preceded in death by her parents Harry and Eva Garnett, and sister Marjorie Garnett.
She is survived by her sister, Dorothy (Orlan) Lehmann and six nieces and nephews, Douglas (Pam) Lehmann, Laura (Mark) Meredith, Nadine (David) Schut, Beth (Daniel) Apsey, Daniel (Sheri) Lehmann, and Rebecca (Matthew) Campbell; 19 great nieces and nephews and one great great niece.
She was an active member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, working many years with the children and youth.
Funeral services will be held Sunday 3:00 pm at St. Paul's United Methodist Church with visitation from 2 to 3 pm prior to the service. Pastor Cathi Huvaere will officiate. She will be laid to rest at Pilgrim Home Cemetery in Holland, MI. Memorial gifts may be made to St. Paul's United Methodist Church or Spectrum Health Hospice.
