Wilma Jean Brabb
TWIN FALLS — Wilma Jean Brabb, age 86, of Twin Falls, passed away Saturday, Dec. 22, 2012, in Boise, Idaho.
Wilma was born Sept. 19, 1926 in Ansley, Neb., the daughter of R. Elbert and Mae Irene Fiscus Copsey. She moved with her family when she was very young to Hansen, Idaho, where she grew up and attended school, graduating from Twin Falls High School.
On June 25, 1946, she married Kenneth Brabb, and to this union were born her three sons, Steven, Dale and Eugene Brabb. They were happily married until December of 2003 brought Kenneth's passing. In 2006, she married Roy Hollifield.
Wilma worked as a school cook, but when her time allowed, she loved to play cards and games with her family members and friends and she loved to travel. She had traveled to many exciting places, such as Europe, England, the Holy Land and extensively throughout the United States. Her fascination with genealogy gave her the incentive to travel to the many places from which her ancestors came.
Wilma was a member of the Valley Christian Church.
Surviving Wilma is her husband, Roy Hollifield, of Boise, ID; three sons, Steven L. Brabb, of Ontario, OR, Dale A. Brabb, of Eugene, OR, and Eugene K. Brabb, of Madras, OR; a brother, Dale Copsey, of Mesa, AZ; five sisters, Carol Fort, of Filer, ID, Jane Shepard, of Portland, OR, Betty Miller, of Gooding, ID, Sharon McCool, of Junction City, OR, and Naomi Raby, of Santa Rosa, CA; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Kenneth Brabb; and brother, Jack Copsey.
Private entombment was held and she was laid to rest beside Kenneth at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery. A celebration of Wilma's life will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 2, at the Valley Christian Church in Twin Falls.
All services and arrangements are under the direction of the Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home of Twin Falls, Idaho.
