Claude Brockett Jr.
ROANOKE, Va.--Claude Leary Brockett Jr., 77, formerly of 2311 Kipling St., died March 5, 1995, in the Veteran's Administration Hospital in Salem, Va.
A native of North Carolina, he was the husband of Mozelle Powell Brockett and the son of the late Claude Leary Brockett Sr. and Sudie Burgess Brockett. He was a charter member of the Beaumont Masonic Lodge in Spartanburg and a retired employee of Noland Company and Williams Supply. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, having served in the European Theatre. He was first married to the late Gladys Brockett.
Also surviving are one daughter, Nicki M. Wilson of Spartanburg; two sons, Robert E. Falligant of Lodi, Calif., and Michael K. Falligant of Birmingham, Ala.; theree sisters, Nina Forbes and Henrietta Sanders, both of Elizabeth City, N.C., and Clara Gibbs of Hertford, N.C.; and six grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. tonight at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, conducted by Dr. Daniel E. Scott.
