Evelyn L. Austic, Fulton resident
Evelyn L. Austic, 92, of 503 Fay St., Fulton, died Thursday, Oct. 18, at home.
A native of Romulus, Mrs. Austic had resided in Fulton most of her life.
She had worked at Columbia Mills in Minetto for 17 years and was a member of State Street United Methodist Church, where she had served on the Evangelism Committee and the Kitchen Committee.
She was a Sunday School teacher for 30 years.
She was married May 8, 1928 in Oswego, New York to Raymond T. Austic, who died in 1977 ; also preceded in death by her daughter, Betty J. Cole, who died in 1993.
Surviving are a sister, Helen Forbes of Fulton;
four grandchildren,
Mark A. Cole, Paul W. Cole, John A. Cole, and Scott E. Cole;
five great-grandchildren;
and several nieces and nephews.
Services were held Saturday at State Street United Methodist Church. Burial was at Chase Cemetery, Lysander.
