NINETY SIX -- William Gary Berry, 67, of 20 Roxanna Drive, husband of Judy Chambers Berry, died April 26, 2009 at Hospice House in Greenwood. Born in Greenwood County July 11, 1941, he was a son of the late William "Pick" and Alice Stribling Berry. He was a graduate of Ninety Six High School and was retired from Duke Power Co., Buzzard Roost Plant, after 37 years of service. He was owner and operator of Berry's Strawberries and Produce and Berry's Bait & Tackle. A member of Temple Baptist Church, he was also a lifetime member of the National Wild Turkey Federation. Surviving in addition to his wife of the home are a son, William Hunter Berry of Ninety Six and a daughter, Windy Berry Calhoun and husband Todd of Ninety Six; four grandchildren, Kameron Berry, Austin Carson, Turrer Calhoun and Chambers Calhoun; three brothers, Howard Berry of Greenwood, Danny Lee Berry of Ninety Six and Ray Berry of Milledgeville GA. Burial in Greenwood Memorial Gardens. Blyth Funeral Home.
