Darlington- Funeral services for one of Darlington's most prominent citizens. Mrs. Catherine Conley, 77, who died at her home Friday after a long illness, will be at 9 am Monday at Holy Rosary Catholic church.
The Rt. Rev. Msgr. Bernard Doyle will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Conley was the widow of E.F. Conley, prominent Darlington lawyer who died in 1940, and the mother of Paul Conley, Lafayette county's "fighting district attorney" who continued his University of Wisconsin boxing career with a war on bootleggers before his death in 1938. The former Catherine Macky, was born in Galena, Ill.
